βSayPro β the South African Youth Project β is a registered non-profit working across Africa to empower professionals, communities, and governments through applied research, policy, and innovation.
This competition is hosted by the SayPro Professionals Office under the SayPro Development Royalty (SCDR) program β our innovation and knowledge generation engine that supports the creation of practical, sustainable solutions in diverse fields such as:

SayPro Professionals Officer:
βThis competition is designed for:
- Professionals
- Scientists
- Engineers
- Community practitioners
- NGOs and educators
We are looking for solutions that use scientific thinking, research, or technical expertise to solve problems like:
- Reducing youth unemployment
- Improving education access
- Protecting the environment
- Promoting financial literacy
- Tackling health or infrastructure issues
This is your chance to move from concept to recognition, funding, and real-world implementation.β

Program Coordinator:
To be eligible:
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must be based in Africa or working on an African-focused problem.
- Your project must show clear application of science, engineering, or research.
- Submissions can come from individuals, teams, or organizations.
We welcome early-stage pilots, MVPs, or mature solutions. All disciplines are welcome.

Technical Lead:
Each submission must include:
- Project Proposal β explain your innovation, method, and why it matters
- Prototype or MVP β a working model, pilot, demo, or video simulation
- Technical Report β showing scientific methods, results, and impact evidence
- Pitch Video (max 5 minutes) β introduce your project and impact potential

Evaluation Panel Chair:
Submissions will be assessed on 5 core criteria:

We use a blind, scorecard-based review, and top finalists will be invited to pitch at the SayPro Innovation Showcase 2025.
